My wife is Chuvash, and I'm really interested in development of the Chuvash Wikipedia, even though I'm not a speaker of the Chuvash language.

Couldn't your wife take her part in creating the Chuvash wikipedia? Even a dozen (and even a couple) of good articles could become a good example for others, who still doubt!

My wife also lives outside of Chuvashia (in Norway, as it happens), and since she grew up in a Russian-speaking family and community, she does not feel competent to write texts in Chuvash, although she can understand some of it.

(However, both of her parents can speak it, as they grew up speaking only Chuvash, until they moved to the city, where no one spoke anything but Russian. Many of their relatives still live in villages where they speak mostly Chuvash.)

That's OK. In fact, if you just move the page, an automatic redirect will be stored at the old title, so all links to it (internal or inter-wiki) will still work.

Cannot help with set interwiki at dates? To specify Chuvash articles on English Wikipedia. Knowledge Chuvash here it is not required. PCode 08:59, 2 Чӳк 2005 (UTC)

I don't visit the English Wikipedia very often, but I will add interwiki-links to Chuvash Wikipedia in the Norwegian and Esperanto Wikipedias (on dates, and on other articles, too)!
